We're delighted to announce we're hosting a free to join webinar with Autism Network Scotland (ANS) and Borders Additional Needs Group (BANG)
About this event
This 1.5-hour informal webinar will give parents and carers, who have a child with an autism diagnosis/waiting for an assessment, an opportunity to speak to other parents and explore the themes of:
- Autistic indicators you may see in your child from ages 1-6
- How your child may perceive the world differently (including sensory sensitivities)
- Sensory sensitivities around the home and how we can support our children
- Routines and visual strategies that can support communication
The session will be run by a facilitator who previously was an early years teacher and is also a carer to an autistic sibling.
